More information on school uniform for Autumn Term 2021
We are asking pupils to wear a school polo shirt and jumper / cardigan. To reflect the recovery curriculum and support in regular breaks and outdoor activities children may wear plain black / grey / navy jogging / tracksuit bottoms, leggings or shorts and sensible trainers as opposed to trousers / skirts and formal school shoes. This is to enable them to participate in activities easily and reduce the need for a PE kit in school in the first instance. If your child has long hair please keep it tied back.
Children can wear plain or embroidered school uniform. We provided an embroidered school book bag when they start. If you would like to order school uniform embroidered with the Harby C of E Primary School swan logo please go to https://myclothing.com/harby-church-of-england-primary-school/11928.school

School Fruit will be providing a mid-morning snack of fruit for children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 as part of the government scheme. You may wish to provide a snack for your child to have – this must be fruit / cheese / yoghurt in a squeezy tube. No nuts / biscuits / crisps.
We reserve the right to provide the occasional whole class snack of a biscuit or similar.

Can my child bring toys into school?
Unfortunately, no. If your child would like to do a 'Show and Tell' of something from home we will be doing this through our online learning journey, Tapestry. You will either be able to send photos or video to school which your child can use to talk about and answer questions from the class.
If your child has a specific comfort object at home which you feel would be beneficial to them at school because they are finding it difficult to settle, we will be happy to discuss this with you.
