Our maths curriculum
The teaching of mathematics at Harby C of E is supported by the use of a scheme of learning and accompanying resources created by White Rose Maths (WRM). Through the use of their materials, we plan exciting and engaging maths lessons. We want to build a culture of deep understanding in maths by providing children with a clear and well structured progression for their mathematical journey.

Children at our school will be able to talk confidently about their use of maths throughout the curriculum and also be provided with active and cross curricular opportunities to embed maths in their long term working memory. In addition to resources in the classroom, the children at our school also have access to online programmes to support their learning further at school and at home.
