Extra Curricular Activities
All afterschool activities are taught by members of staff, or professional who are experienced in these activities and hold relevant qualifications. Each after school activity lasts around 40 minutes. The clubs are very popular, attracting large numbers of children.
Sports
Multi-sports clubs runs for KS1 and KS2 on Tuesdays and Fridays from 3.30-4.15 each week of our academic year. Kat, from Urban Movement, chooses activities to suit the groups taking part, in collaboration with the children, and these are regularly rotated to provide a wide variety of sporting activities and experiences for a wide range of pupils.
Our Inspire+ Apprentice runs netball - high 5 - after schools on a Wednesday for children in Y5/6.
When opportunities arise, Harby School takes part in inter-school football, rugby, athletics, netball, basketball, cricket and cross-country fixtures.
Music
Music flourishes at Harby C of E and pupils have the opportunity to learn to play the recorder or join our seasonal choir. Additionally, Mrs Zosia Cocker - A peripatetic strings teacher - teaches viola, violin and cello - with a charge being made for these lessons. Please contact school if you'd like to find out more.
Eco/Gardening
