Just a few reminders:

Seesaw is up and running - please use the messaging facility if you need to get in contact about our class, our learning or school routines.

Reading
Y5/6's must have a reading book in school everyday - accompanied by their yellow reading record.

PE
All children have been asked to wear trainers and comfortable trousers / leggings / jogging bottoms to help us get outside and active as much as possible. Our PE days are now Wednesday and Thursday - so children need to have trainers to change into. Remember to also bring a jumper or hoodie incase it's cool.

Homework
Just a note to say that there will always be two tasks - a spelling task (to help children to learn some key Y5/6 spellings) and also an additional task - which will be either Maths or English. Please remember that the writing in homework books should be presented to the best of your child's ability. Any problems - get in touch via SeeSaw.

All of the key spellings for Y5/6 can be downloaded here

Timestables
Your child has a login and password to access the Timestable Rockstars (TTRS) app -  to help them to learn their times tables facts. Please support them in learning to recall their tables in order and then out of order - it is really, really important that they know them.

Water Bottles
Please bring a water bottle to school each day so you can keep hydrated during the school day. You can refill your bottle throughout the day.

Personal Isolation:
In the event of personal isolation due to Covid, please inform the office and if your child is well enough they can do some work whilst they are away. The timetable will be posted at the top of this page and the class teacher will upload more detail and resources into our Class 4 Teams page when needed. (Class 4 - general files - class materials - week ending [date] ... )

Please share any learning at home via Seesaw.
