Extra Curricular Activities

Extra curricular activities are those which take place outside of usual school hours or at lunchtime.  Children choose to attend these sessions and they are open to all children within the specified age brackets.  The large majority of extra curricular clubs and activities that are offered are led by teaching and support staff who are acting in a voluntary capacity.  We are grateful to our staff for giving their time to support the wider development of the children.

School Provided Extra Curricular Activities

The school provides sporting, music, art and other opportunities during the course of the school year.  The opportunities for the Autumn Term 2023 will be advertised upon the return to school after the summer holiday to enable children to sign up and will include sporting, music and library club opportunities.

Externally Provided Extra Curricular Activities

We are pleased to support violin, viola and 'cello lessons to pupil in Key Stage 2.  These are provided by Mrs. Cocker who is our peripatetic strings teacher.  Mrs Cocker has been teaching strings for many years and the children enjoy playing individually and also together as a group.  These lessons are organised privately with Mrs. Cocker but delivered at school either before the day starts or during lunchtime. For further information please contact the school office and we will be happy to help.
