Our Wonderful Class...
Summer Term 2020
Summer Term
- week ending 10th July 2020
Our final mini topic for this term will be Crazy Creations and Marvellous Music! A fantastic reason to let your creativity shine and explore some new arts, dance and music. This week I have included a range of different craft ideas from Twinkl and as there are so many to choose from I have put all the resources in a DropBox. Click on the button below this weeks topic web to see what there is! I've also included some fantastic books to explore and read together including my personal favourites from the Creatrilogy by Peter H Reynolds; Dot, Ish and Sky colour. They are beautifully illustrated and have lovely story lines that include elements of our Route to Resilience character strengths such as creativity, resilience and self-belief. I hope you all have a fabulous week getting creative and letting your imagination take you wherever you want to go!

Mrs Marsden at home...
Hello again everyone! I have also been exploring our wonderful world at home with Noah and Sienna. We have been enjoying being outdoors lots and we have found ourselves exploring parts of our local area that we have never seen before. We have been very busy in our garden creating a mini woodland den and Noah has been very busy making a bug hotel out of things we have in our garden and garage. We have also spotted lots of slugs, snails and other creatures on our walks and enjoyed spotting and identifying different plants too!
Good morning and hope you are all doing ok! I am missing seeing you at school - please keep in touch by emailing any photos of what you are getting up to to our class email class2@harby.leics.sch.uk.
I am very busy at home with Noah and Sienna - we are enjoying the sunshine as much as we can. Here are some of the things we have been up to - testing different materials to make our own parachutes and testing them to see which is the best, making fairy gardens using bits and bobs from around the garden... I wonder what you have been doing?

Have a go at some "Our Wonderful Word" art. Can you find out the names of the oceans and then create some ocean art?
